Williamsburg
A new udon shop has emerged in Wburg that I anticipate will soon be very popular with it's trendy interior and fresh made noodles. To start with, the agedashi tofu and the karaage were both beautifully plated, tasty, and a fairly large size. The udon itself comes either hot or cold and with a variety of toppings or in a curry broth variety. I opted for the whipped mountain yam version which was beautiful and had a very light flavor. If you're looking for something more hearty, I recommend the curry version with a tempura egg on the side (tbh you maybe should just get this regardless of what udon you choose). Overall, everything was pretty reasonably priced and filling and I would definitely come again if I'm looking for something to warm me up.
