Fort Greene
I think this is the best place I've eaten at all year. No joke. I'm still speechless. Every single thing we ordered was mind blowing which was essentially half of the menu but I will be returning soon for the other half. Not only is the atmosphere incredibly cute with flattering just dark enough lighting but the food speaks for itself. The menu is very vegetarian friendly with plenty of dips and sides that hold their own against the proteins. My two favorite items were the sweet potato hummus and whipped ricotta which I would eat with a spoon however the chicken livers, octopus (so tender I could cry!), and baba ganoush were nothing to sniff at either. The chicken thigh kebab was succulent and so was the short rib which was serve with a spicy sauce to drag through. Literally nothing was boring, let alone bad. This place is a must for vegetarians and Mediterranean food lovers alike.
