Williamsburg
I’ve walked past this place many a time on my way to my favorite Williamsburg bar, Miss Favela, and finally got to go. It’s surprisingly spacious inside and best of all, has an enclosed heated greenhouse space thats cozy and luscious. The menu is seasonal and rotating and the octopus appetizer we had was tender and flavorful (I only wish there had been even more octopus!). As for the entrees we ordered the special of the night, crab and squid ink risotto and the cappellacci filled with squash finished in brown butter and sage. The risotto was rich but maybe a tad on the salty side. The cappellacci was incredible.
We could have eaten another order. I’d love to come back here to try more of their pastas.
