Uzbeki food is not something I'm very familiar with but when trying to find my new local spots after moving to Park Slope, I was enticed by things on the menu that essentially looked like dumplings. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the atmosphere here was lovely (outdoor backyard with a relaxing waterfall!) and turns out, uzbeki food is a delicious crossover between Asian and European. I highly recommend the lamb kebabs here dressed with onions to balance out the fat. I also recommend the chuchvara which were like tiny tortellini filled with meat and fried with onions served with sour cream on the side. I'd like to come back to try the lagman which the two eastern european men sitting next to me were devouring as well as the chicken heart kebabs which I was excited to see on a menu that wasn't in a japanese yakitori restaurant.
