Prospect Heights
I was excited to try ramen from the most hyped spot in the area and was not disappointed. Although I was slightly annoyed that I had to pay a la carte for additional toppings outside of the soup and noodles, the miso butternut squash broth was extremely rich and heart warming which made up for the chashu that was not super soft and tasted a little funky. The egg was totally worth the money and although I wouldn’t pick it over ippudo, its one of the best ramens I’ve had that isn’t 100% traditional.
