Behind a very sketchy door in lower east side and up a flight of steps hides a surprisingly classy Filipino restaurant with reasonably priced small plates. It's perfect for a date night because it's small, not too crowded or loud, has delicious food which is presented well and did I mention it's also BYO? Order at least two plates per person. I recommend the Chinese sausage, the paella, the pork belly lechon, and some of the coconut rice (I rarely eat rice at restaurants after it was drilled into me by my mother that it's a waste of your stomach but this stuff is an exception because it's so tasty) and thai chili lime sauce. Then if the night goes well, hit up one of the millions of bars in LES after (for dates I suggest Nitecap, The Flower Shop, or Mr. Purple depending on the vibes).
