Hell's Kitchen

I was so excited that a new Indian restaurant opened in the neighborhood but then didn't get around to trying it until now. First off, almost all the staff have impressive moustaches and are very kind and helpful which is +10 in my book. Secondly, there are all the normal standbys like palak paneer, daal, and chicken tikka along with a few things I've never seen at an indian restaurant such as mussels gol gappa (semolina balls in a chutney). The paneer appetizer was a little disappointing as it was dry but the squash in coconut curry with the garlic naan more than made up for it. It was super super creamy without being overly fatty and was bursting with flavor. I will 100% be back to try their tasting menu which I've heard from neighbors is a great deal along with some of the meat entrees. This place has some of the best indian food I've had in the city.
