Sophie's Cuban Cuisine

I was so excited when this Cuban chain opened up a location a block away from my apartment. The chain serves Cuban staples such as sandwiches, stews, roast chicken, and seafood along with sides like yucca fries, yellow rice and beans. It also carries tropical fruit shakes and delicious empanadas. Particularly, I went on the right day for oxtail stew which was served with plenty of delicious gravy, onions and olives. Don't forget to also get a few containers of their famous green sauce (similar to chimichurri but a little spicier and less creamy). Overall, for a pickup spot, this place serves really delicious and large portions of Cuban food for a reasonable price even if you can't make it to Havana.
