Berlin, Germany

This chain in Berlin was what was suggested by the people I was staying with as well as the internet and it did not disappoint. From a very unassuming street stand by the train station, several people were all chowing down on this Berlin specialty. Currywurst is a white sausage which is on the softer, less snappy side compared to New York. It's full of flavor though and is topped with curry powder which gives it a little kick (I would have asked for more curry powder if I had been able to eat this again). The fries are a little thinner and crispier than belgian ones but delicious and great with curry and mayo. The ketchup was a little much and I would have asked for less but gave the dish the necessary acidity. This thing is hefty but so cheap and delicious.
