When I heard that there was a ramen place that puts whipped cream on top of their bowls, Mentoku instantly came to the top of my list. The lunch special comes with a side so I opted for the fish eggs (although they were on the bitter side). The ramen itself was decent and the whipped cream is not sweetened so once it's stirred into the ramen, it gives it a creamy consistency. Overall though, it was just too heavy for my taste and I could barely finish any of the broth (which is very atypical for me as it's normally my favorite part). Do it for the hype but otherwise, leave the cream for sundaes and scones.
