Crispy Chicken and Yellow Rice

One of the most magical times I have had in my life was my week in Koh Tao. Between the friends I made, the diving I did, and all the beaches I explored on the back of a motorbike, I loved my time there and highly suggest that you go before it becomes too tourist heavy. On this tiny island, there are plenty of road-side shacks but one of the cheapest and best I ate at was the one that only served crispy chicken over yellow rice. It costs 50 baht (aka $1.50) and is in a central location on the way to many beaches from town. The lady who makes it is super nice and quiet and although the meal is simple, it isn’t too oily or bland (like thai food could ever be bland). I went back here twice.
