Hosting big group barbeque's in the summer are a great way to get your crew together to enjoy the weather outside but will undoubtedly leave you with a ton of leftover hot dogs, patties, buns and condiments that you have no way of storing in your tiny Manhattan apartment.
1. Hot Dogs
Outside of eating them whole for breakfast, I find ways of sneaking them into everything from dicing them and adding them to omelets and salads, ramen soups, stuffing them in peppers, and meat stews with pork and beef which I serve over noodles or quinoa. Have a sausage party
2. Hamburgers
Hamburger patties are basically the same as ground beef so check out the ground beef post in staples.
3. Buns
For ideas see this post about bread.
4. Condiments
Ketchup is a good addition to fried rice making it taste similar to a korean fried rice if you also add a little chili paste. It can also be used to make other condiments such as thousand island dressing, barbeque sauce, and russian dressing. Mustard is highly versatile as a marinade for pork and salmon and can be used as a reduction with vinegar and the leftover oil after grilling protein or to make a salad dressing.
5. Beer
Beer is one of the best things to cook meat with in order to make it more tender. Braise the hot dogs in it, use it in stews, or even to cook a chicken in a somewhat unorthodox manner.
