East Village, West Village, Flushing, Forest Hills, Brooklyn

So when I first heard about the premise of snowcream I couldn't help but think it was a well marketed rip-off. It's ice cream that's frozen really hard and then shaved like ice into fluffy piles that look way larger than the actual ice cream they contain. And then I tried snowcream in Baltimore (Snowbots) for the first time and was blown away by its light but still sticky texture. I was so excited to try snowcream when I came back to NYC but was left a little disappointed when I tried snowdays. The snowcream had the same texture but had less flavor and there were less toppings to choose from than the one I went to in Baltimore. It also left me oddly very full.
