The soft-boiled egg in this was perfect so don’t lose it in your soup! Also this ramen was very thick and the wavy noodles did a good job of picking up the thick broth well. Outside of ramen, the dumplings here are the closest dumplings to what my mom makes with a nice onion-y ginger-y flavor.
What I ordered: Tantan
Average price per bowl: $10-$14
Inside scoop: Come for lunch to get their lunch special, one smaller bowl of ramen as well as a donburi (get the one with tuna), and a pickled vegetable. It’s actually a good amount of food and you can also add a small portion of dumplings or a pork bun for 3 more dollars.
